For most QLD founders, though, the choice is less about geography than fit. Freight from Melbourne to Brisbane is 1-2 business days on standard commercial freight. Formulation development happens via video and sample shipments. The operational difference between using us and using a Brisbane-based manufacturer is essentially the freight leg on finished goods — every other part of the relationship works identically.

Initial brief. Email info@epilab.com.au with a short outline: product category, target volume, timeline, compliance requirements. We respond within a business day with the questions we need answered to scope the project. All of this happens over email and video.

Formulation development. Sample rounds ship overnight to 2 business days from Melbourne to Brisbane and other QLD addresses. You evaluate, provide feedback, we iterate. Typical custom formulation runs 3-6 rounds depending on category complexity.
