Formulation considerations

Baby balm formulation centres on wax and butter blend (beeswax, candelilla, carnauba, shea butter, cocoa butter), lightweight oil component (sunflower, jojoba, apricot kernel), and any treatment actives (calendula, panthenol, allantoin). Vegan formulation replaces beeswax with candelilla or sunflower wax. Fragrance is typically omitted in baby balm.
